Slogan Festival: The "Traditions
of the Russian school of decorative art on the boundary
of new millenium".
Festival has in the name of Stroganoff
- outstanding statesman's and public figures, collectors,
patrons of arts. They aided in the development of
domestic culture. It is connected establishment of the
oldest school of the handicrafts, decorative and
industrial arts with name of Stroganoff in the Moscow.
In the festival program:
- Competition creative the work of
arts of students and the graduates of artistic
educational establishments Russia as to following
nominations:
- Miniature painting on the
papier-mache;
- Painting on the metal;
- Jewelry and artistic enamel;
- Decorative sculpture (wood,
ceramics, metal, stone);
- Ivory-carving;
- Wood-carving and painting;
- Ceramics (pottery, stoneware,
porcelain etc.);
- Glass;
- Tapestry and woven (goblin
technique);
- Embroidery and lace;
- Resist-painting
("batik"), handpainting on the fabric
and textile panel (application, collage and
quilt);
- The modeling of costume and
headgear's;
- Authorial costume design;
- Furniture;
- Computer modeling (two- and
three-dimensional).
- Festival of educational and
finishing projects the young stylists of Moscow.

the artistic educational establishments of
Moscow, of St.Petersbourg and other cities of
Russia.

The basic place of the realization of
Festival - "Tushino" exhibition hall. The
proceeding of Festival will pass also in exhibition halls
and in the artistic educational establishments of Moscow.

To participation in creative
competition are invited students and the graduates of the
artistic educational establishments (schools, lyceums,
colleges, institutes, academies, universities) of
decorative-applied and folk arts at the age of from 14
till 26 years old.
Individual authorial claims on
participation in creative competition enclosing slides or
photographs of the objects are admitted till September 1,
1999.
Claims from educational establishments
and organizations on participating in the proceeding of
Festival: exhibitions, displays, are admitted till March
15, 1999.
Claims on participation in creative
workshops are admitted till May 15, 1999.

The Organizing Committee always is
